Belgian poet and filmmaker who published around 800 poems, while hundreds of pages of his work remain unpublished (including a journal of 35 volumes).

He was the younger brother of the architect Victor Bourgeois with whom, at the end of the 1920s, he animated 7 Arts, a cutting-edge magazine devoted to cinema. Pierre Bourgeois died on 25 May 1976 at age 77.
