British engineer and student of astrology, his hobby for many years. His particular interest was in the connection of the planets with various metals and machinery, and he was skilled in predicting accidents with machines. He was convinced that all machines fall under the influence of Uranus and secondarily, Mars.

Boreham was not successful in England so moved to America. Throughout his life he met with strong opposition in his career matters.
