Biography
French top-ranking civil servant, 1960, Assistant Chief of Police, 1968-71, 1974-82. He was Technical Advisor 1971-74, Chief of Police, 1982, Director of the territory’s surveillance (DST), 1982-85. The Government Commissioner in Guadeloupe, 1986, he was then in the Marne department from 1987 and a Deputy, 1992-97. Bonnet was taken in for questioning on 11/28/1997 as a presumed accomplice in the Conserver 21 case (fraud and graft; Issue # 46, page 7), suspected of having played an active role in the organization of that company, especially in fund raising.
Bonnet married on 31 May 1961; four children.
