André Boniface

French rugby union player, the world’s best forward in modern rugby. Selected 47 times in international events between 1954 and 1966, he is an exceptional tactical and technical player.

Boniface was inducted into the International Rugby Hall of Fame in 2005. Both he and his younger brother Guy Boniface were inducted into the IRB Hall of Fame in March 2011.
