French politician and nobleman, the son of Louis-Alexandre Berthier, 1st Prince of Wagram, and Duchess Maria Elisabeth in Bavaria (and by his mother, grandnephew of King Maximilian I of Bavaria).
He died on 10 February 1887 in Paris.

On the 11th of this month, at 3 o'clock, the Princess of Neufchatel and Wagram was delivered of a Prince); and "Opregte Haarlemsche Courant," 18 Sep. 1810, p 1: "H. D. H. Princes van Neufchatel en Wagram, is gisteren morgen, gelukkig van een Prins verlost" (H. D. H. Princess of Neufchatel and Wagram, yesterday morning, was happily delivered of a Prince).
