Biography
French physician who became an expert in radiology after he saw his first X-ray in January 1896. He oversaw the construction of a radiology department at Hospital Tenon, a department which he moved to the Hospital Saint-Antoine in 1897. There, for the next 35 years, he led the French school of radiology.
Died in 2/24/1939 in Paris at age 82.
