Biography
French jazz drummer (who played with Stéphane Grappelli and Django Reinhardt), radio announcer in London, and spy in the USA. In 2013, he was the last of the French staff at "Radio Londres". Requested by Maurice Schumann to speak on the BBC during the second world war, he was London-based until 1945. He died on 6 April 2018 at age 99 in Le Cateau-Cambrésis. His son Axel is a pop singer.
