Biography

French priest who served as bishop of Monaco from 1953 to 1962. He is particularly known for having married Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier on 18 April 1956. In 1962 he was appointed Bishop of Fréjus and Toulon, retiring in 1983.

He died on 14 July 1993.
