Biography
Indian film actor, producer and playback singer best known for his work in Hindi films. He is the son of veteran actors Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan.
Since 2007, Bachchan has been married to actress Aishwarya Rai and they have a daughter named Aaradhya born on 16 November 2011.

Ashish Seth quotes a newspaper blog article, describing the celebration of his 40th birthday. A statement therein by the father Amitabh Bachchan could be constructed as talking about a midnight birth (4th to 5th), but on reflection this was assumed to be a misinterpretation.
Seth found a blog entry by Amitabh Bachchan dated "Jalsa, Mumbai, Feb 4/5, 2013, Mon/Tue 2:22 AM" and stating: "It is now the hour of the birth of my son, Abhishek … well actually, way past that hour. It was a late night at the Breach Candy Hospital and when it was announced of his coming, a celebration broke out within the premises with some old friends of mine that were there holding my emotion and my body for its excitement !!" [1]. Seth writes: "Amitabh Bachchan, was writing this letter at 2:22 am, first he says, it is hour of birth of his son, then he mentions way past that hour, so he was born in early hours of 5 Feb."
Seth found another statement by Amitabh Bachchan: "Billu and I at Breach Candy Hospital late in the night, waiting, pacing the corridors as Jaya labors inside with Abhishek … that opening of the door of the OT, the doctor Shah peeping out and asking … ” what did you want ?” .. we stare at him, asking for nothing, he smiles ..”it’s a boy !" [2].
