Biography

Norwegian businessman and shipowner. He was the son of philantropist Heddy Astrup and shipowner Nils Ebbessøn Astrup. 1988-1989 he was president of the Norwegian Shipowner's Association. He was a close friend of the Norwegian royal family and was godfather to Princess Märtha Louise.

Astrup died on 5 September 2005, aged 70.
