Tommy Armour


Scottish-American golfer. He moved to the U.S. in 1922 and became a pro golfer in 1924; within seven years he won every major championship in the world. When he won the British Open 5 June 1932, he held all three championships at the same time, the U.S. Open, the PGA and the British Open. Elected to the PGA Hall of Fame 1940. Died 11 September 1968, cause unspecified, age 72.
