Biography
America’s Central Park in New York City became the home of a two-foot Cayman apparently dropped off by a pet-owner at a lake in the park. On 6/23/2001, two professional alligator wrestlers flew in from Florida to capture the beast at c. 9:50 PM to the accompaniment of TV cameras and local politicians. Citizens of the city had been having fun "alligator-spotting" for days before the big event, after which "Damon the Cayman" was transported to a zoo.
