Claudie Andre-Deshays


French medical scientist, selected as a Cosmonaut in 1985. A rheumatologist, specializing in aeronautical medical science and neuroscience. She left for the "star city" of Baykonour for a 18-month training for a space mission; scheduled for 16-day space mission June 1996. Andre-Deshays married on 6/25/1977 and later divorced 9/20/1986.
