Biography
French actor, who began in the theatre, working notably with Firmin Gémier and Maurice de Féraudy at the Théâtre Michel de Saint Péterbourg.
He appeared in over sixty films. He played supporting roles in Jean Cocteau's films, La Belle et la Bête (Beauty and the Beast) and Les Parents terribles (The Storm Within).
He died on 13 October 1974 in Paris, France. He is the father of actor Michel André (La Bonne Planque), who disappeared thirteen years after him.
