Norwegian architect and city planner. He was a central figure of both Norwegian and Nordic city planning. From 1970 he was professor of “fysisk planering” ('physical planning') at Nordplan in Stockholm, and 1976-1982 rector.
Andersson died on 2 July 2008 in Asker, Norway, aged 86.
