Biography
Norwegian jurist and professor of jurisprudence at the University of Oslo from 1986 to 2010. He became professor at the Faculty of Law at the University of Bergen in 1979. He was married to jurist and lawyer Ellen Holager Andenæs. In his youth he was a javelin thrower, with a personal best of 73.12 metres at Bislett stadion in 1960.
Andenæs died on 12 May 2019 aged 79.
