Biography
Swiss actor who appeared mainly in German and Swiss films and television shows. He continued to work steadily for over 60 years. He is best known for his title role in the German television series Graf Yoster.
Together with Heinrich Gretler he came to Switzerland and met Therese Giehse. In Munich he played in Die Kleine Freiheit. In the series Gestatten, mein Name ist Cox he appeared with Günther Pfitzmann. He voiced Lucky Luke. Der Kommissar and Die fünfte Kolonne were other roles in his career. With Meschugge and Herr Goldstein he explored his Jewish background.
He died at the age of 104 in Munich on 3 May 2017.
