Biography

Philologist and Arabist Spanish. He was Professor of Hebrew at Salamanca and Arabic in Seville. He published numerous works of his specialty: catalogue of Arabic Manuscripts preserved in the University of Granada; Granada Museum of Antiquities; Compendium grammar and lexicon of the vulgar Arabic in Morocco; and study on the Arab inscriptions of Granada.

He died 15 December 1919.
