Biography
American actress, a versatile performer in lead and supporting roles on stage and screen.
A founding member of Chicago's Steppenwolf Theater Company, she won a Tony for her Broadway debut in "Burn This," 1987, then scored another hit with "The Heidi Chronicles," 1989.
Her films include "Peggy Sue Got Married," 1986, "Tucker," 1988 and "Ethan Frome," 1993.
