Biography

American Treasurer nominated by President Nixon on 20 September 1971. She founded Romana's Mexican Food Products Inc. in 1949 and turned it into a multi-million dollar business. She married and had three children. In September 1973, her company became the subject of scandal for hiring illegal aliens. She resigned from her government post in February 1974. She died on 15 January 2018.
