Biography

Mexican plane crash, the deadliest aviation disaster ever to occur on Mexican soil, and the deadliest involving a Boeing 727.

The aircraft left Mexico City at 08:50 CST and went down 14 minutes later killing all 167 people on board after hitting the 2,375 m (7,792 ft) peak of El Carbón, a mountain in the rugged Sierra Madre Occidental mountain range northwest of Mexico City.
