Biography

American charter bus crash killing or injuring many members of a college baseball team. The bus went off off an exit ramp overpass, fell 30 feet, and landed on its side on the highway below. Six people were killed including four student players, the bus driver and his wife. The remaining players and their coach, were injured, some seriously. Although the bus had been on the road all night, the driver was a relief driver who had come onboard the bus about an hour before the crash.

The bus was carrying a college baseball team from Mennonite-affiliated Bluffton University on their annual spring training trip to Florida. They had left Ohio at approximately 7 PM local time the evening before.
