Ermilo Abreu Gómez (Bust)


Mexican writer, journalist and lecturer whose most well-known work is Canek (1940), a story about the old Mayan people. He was a member of the Mexican Academy of Language from 1963. He was also a professor in several Universities in the United States. He died in Mexico City on 14 July 1971, aged 76.
