American singer-songwriter, musician, and pianist, who owns and operates his own record label, Seedling Records. He is the son of singer-songwriters Jim Croce and Ingrid Croce.
His father died on 20 September 1973 in a plane crash. At the age of four Croce was completely blinded as the result of serious physical abuse by his mother's boyfriend. Between the ages of four and ten, Croce gradually regained vision in his left eye. It was during this difficult time in Croce's life that he began to play the piano.
Croce has performed as an opening act for artists such as Carlos Santana, Rod Stewart, and Aretha Franklin. He has released nine albums.
