	After Kepler became Brahe's assistant in 1600, they received a commission from the emperor to calculate more accurate planetary tables, which were called in Latin ''Tabulæ Rudolphinæ''. When Brahe unexpectedly passed away in October 1601, Kepler succeeded him as imperial mathematician and continued to work on the tables alone. In May 1612, Kepler took a position in Linz, where he continued to work on the tables and on ''Harmonices Mundi V'', the five books on world harmony, alongside the surveying of Upper Austria. These were published in 1619, but the release of the Rudolphine Tables was unexpectedly delayed when the printing house burned down during the Upper Austrian Peasants' War in 1626.
