The Swiss Ephemeris Birth Chart

When an astronomical telescope is built, the moment of 'first light' is celebrated. For the Swiss Ephemeris, we use the 'first laser light', the burning of the first CDROM for a licensed customer, as the appropriate moment of birth. The lucky licensee is Peter Fraiss of Astrologik, Vienna, who will be using the new ephemeris in his long awaited opus magnum, Sarastro.

This memorable moment was on Tuesday, 30-Sept-1997, at 16:00 (4 pm) in Zollikon. Dieter Koch and Alois Treindl, the creators of the ephemeris, celebrated the event with a bottle of champagne. This seemed to be appropriate for a chart which has Neptune rising. The creation of this ephemeris is a very idealistic project, and the world will probably love it, as Venus at the MC indicates.
