Astrodienst headquartersIl fisico Dr. Alois Treindl, il fondatore di Astrodienst, ebbe una visione: combinare la tecnologia software moderna dei laboratori di ricerca sull'Intelligenza Artificiale con l'arte interpretativa astrologica dei migliori astrologi del mondo. Egli riuscì a persuadere Liz Greene, Analista Jungiana e astrologa di fama mondiale, della validità delle sue idee. Insieme essi hanno creato negli anni dal 1985 al 1987 "l'Analisi Psicologica dell'Oroscopo".
Ciò ha stabilito un nuovo standard per gli oroscopi computerizzati a tutt'oggi non eguagliato da alcun concorrente.

Con il marchio ASTRO*INTELLIGENCE sono presenti sul mercato otto analisi astrologiche diverse, in nove lingue. Liz Greene continua ad essere la nostra autrice più importante, ed offriamo inoltre analisi scritte da Robert Hand, le cui interpretazioni sui transiti sono un classico, ed anche dell'astrologa tedesca Mona Riegger.

Recentemente si è aggiunta una linea di analisi a prezzo economico, chiamata "AstroText". Circa quaranta partners, in venti paesi, hanno una licenza per usare il nostro software per produrre e vendere analisi ASTRO*INTELLIGENCE in modo indipendente.

History of Astrodienst

  1. Alois Treindl, graduate student, buys his first astrology book: Horoskope selbst gestellt by Ursula Lewis.

  2. Alois Treindl, graduate student, writes his first astrology program, calculating planetary postions and drawing charts, on his lab computer at ETH Zürich, an HP 9845B.

  3. Alois Treindl, starts selling color charts and calls this service Astrodienst Zürich.

  4. Alois Treindl completes his PhD in Physics and buys his first computer, a HP 9826A. He sticks with HP machines until 2003.

  5. Astrodienst AG incorporated.

  6. Astrodienst moves to Unix, the HP-UX variant, a year after it was released. Alois Treindl starts working with Liz Greene.

  7. Astrodienst ports the Prolog interpreter developed by an ETH student to the HP/9000 series. Alois Treindl uses Prolog for expert system modeling of astrological rules and concepts.

  8. Psychological Horoscope Analysis, by Liz Greene.
