À propos d'Astrodienst

Le siège d'Astrodienst AG est à Zollikon, près de Zurich, dans une villa romantique située près du lac Zurich. L'équipe est actuellement composée de huit personnes qui travaillent très fort à gérer les opérations quotidiennes et à développer de nouveaux projets avec l'aide de partenaires extérieurs.

Le physicien Alois Treindl, PhD, fondateur d'Astrodienst, avait une vision: combiner la technologie informatique moderne des laboratoires de recherche d'intelligence artificielle à l'art de l'interprétation astrologique développé par les meilleurs astrologues au monde. Il put ainsi gagner à sa cause Liz Greene, une psychanalyste jungienne et une astrologue de réputation mondiale. Au cours de 1985 à 1987, le tandem réalisa l'Analyse psychologique par horoscope. Cette analyse établit de nouvelles normes pour les horoscopes générés par ordinateur que la compétition n'a pas encore surpassées.
Il existe désormais sur le marché huit analyses astrologiques différentes offertes en neuf langues et portant la marque ASTRO*INTELLIGENCE. Liz Greene demeure notre auteur la plus populaire mais nous offrons également des analyses par Robert Hand, dont le travail sur l'interprétation des transits est désormais considéré comme un classique du genre, ainsi que des analyses de l'astrologue allemande Mona Riegger.
Nous avons récemment ajouté une série d'analyses AstroText à prix économique (disponible en anglais et allemand). Environ une quarantaine d'associés dans plus de vingt pays utilisent notre logiciel pour générer et vendre indépendamment des analyses ASTRO*INTELLIGENCE.
L'Internet est maintenant devenu le médium de communication le plus important. Notre site web, www.astro.com, est réputé pour la qualité de ses horoscopes gratuits, de son horoscope quotidien personnalisé et pour l'accès gratuit à un atlas qui compte plus de 250 000 villes et villages et toute l'information nécessaire sur les fuseaux horaires. Six millions de visiteurs l'utilisent chaque jour. En ce moment, le gros de nos efforts de développement est axé sur le web - nous avons de grands projets. Revenez nous voir!

History of Astrodienst

1. June 1979:

   Alois Treindl, graduate student, buys his first astrology book: Horoskope selbst gestellt by Ursula Lewis.

2. July 1979:

   Alois Treindl, graduate student, writes his first astrology program, calculating planetary postions and drawing charts, on his lab computer at ETH Zürich, an HP 9845B.

3. January 1980:

   Alois Treindl, starts selling color charts and calls this service Astrodienst Zürich.

4. June 1981:

   Alois Treindl completes his PhD in Physics and buys his first computer, a HP 9826A. He sticks with HP machines until 2003.

5. October 1983:

   Astrodienst AG incorporated.

6. Autumn 1985:

   Astrodienst moves to Unix, the HP-UX variant, a year after it was released. Alois Treindl starts working with Liz Greene.

7. October 1985:

   Astrodienst ports the Prolog interpreter developed by an ETH student to the HP/9000 series. Alois Treindl uses Prolog for expert system modeling of astrological rules and concepts.

8. March 1987:

   Psychological Horoscope Analysis, by Liz Greene.

9. November 1987:

   First software license sold to the USA.

10. September 1989:

    Transits of the Year, by Robert Hand.

11. May 1992:

    Relationship Horoscope, by Liz Greene.

12. November 1993:

    Child's Horoscope, by Liz Greene.

13. November 1993:

    Personal Horoscope Calendar, by Robert Hand.

14. August 1996:

    Website www.astro.ch goes online.

15. November 1996:

    Yearly Horoscope Analysis, by Liz Greene.

16. November 1997:

    Horoscope for Two, by Mona Riegger.

17. 1998:

    Astrodienst purchases the domain name astro.com for $4000, from a Las Vegas company which ran websites for night clubs.

18. January 1999:

    Horoscope 2000 / Long Term Perspectives, by Liz Greene.

19. August 1999:

    Free Personal Daily Horoscopes on website.

20. September 1999:

    Astrodienst acquires Astral Research and publishes AstroText reports.

21. December 1999:

    Astrodienst relocates a web server to the USA with increased bandwidth.
