Liz Greene, Zurich: Neptune in Aquarius: The Meaning
of its Transits
This seminar will explore the transits of Neptune to planets
in the birth chart, with special reference to its movement
through Aquarius and the relevance of this to the individual
whose chart is triggered. The historical import of Neptune
in Aquarius will also be discussed. Also relevant in this
seminar is the ongoing square of transiting Saturn in Taurus
to Neptune in Aquarius, and we will examine the meaning of
this aspect in the heavens and how affects the individual.
Saturday 20 February 1999
Liz Greene, Zurich: Pluto in Sagittarius: The Meaning
of its Transits
This seminar will explore the transits of Pluto in the birth
chart with special reference to its movement through Sagittarius.
All those with planets in mutable signs will receive major
hard aspects from transiting Pluto in Sagittarius, and many
others will experience its easier aspects or, at the least,
minor aspects. Pluto moving through Sagittarius is relevant
for everyone. The historical and contemporary importance of
the transit in terms of the collective will be discussed,
as well as how Pluto works when it moves across natal and
progressed planets in the individual chart.
Saturday 20 March 1999 (cancelled)
Charles Harvey, London: Communicating the whole Chart to the
Client
The job of the astrologer is both to listen to the client
and hear their current situation, yet also to place the present
time in the context of the client's larger potential. Above
all the astrologer's work is to shine light on the individual's
potential and the significance of their present situation
and how the present time can be seen as a step towards greater
fulfillment. This seminar will set out a model for consultation
work which enables the client to obtain a deeper structural
understanding of their life and its potential, and allows
them to work with the information that the astrologer provides.
Students should bring their own birth chart and midpoints.
Saturday 6 November 1999
Liz Greene, Zurich: Old Cheesefoot, Part One: Saturn
in the Birth Horoscope
"Old Cheesefoot" is a medieval term for the Devil, a role
which Saturn often seems to play. This seminar, the first
of two on this planet, will explore Saturn in depth in the
birth chart, through its sign and house placements and its
aspects to other natal planets. Special emphasis will be given
to the emotional experiences of deprivation, fear, limitation,
and projection of "inferiority" which accompany Saturn's birth
placement, as well as an exploration of the constructive potential
and deeper meaning of apparently negative Saturnian experiences.
(Note: Some time will be given in the afternoon to charts
from members of the seminar group. If you wish your chart
discussed as an example, please bring it on a transparency
for the overhead projector.)
Saturday 4 December 1999
Liz Greene, Zurich: Old Cheesefoot, Part Two: Saturn
in Synastry and in Progressions and Transits
This seminar will explore the way in which Saturn is so often
implicated in cross-aspects in important relationships. Although
Saturn links between two charts are often very difficult to
work with, it seems that they are necessary if a relationship
is to reach any level of depth and transformation for both
people. The aspects of transiting Saturn to natal planets
will also be examined in depth, as well as important transits
to natal Saturn and progressed aspects involving this planet.
(Note: As with Part One, if you wish your chart discussed
as an example, please bring it on a transparency for the overhead
projector.)
