This short extract gives you a taste of the personal "Child's Horoscope" by Liz Greene. The small samples taken from various chapters convey an impression of the complete horoscope (18-25 pages) which can be ordered as an E-Horoscope or a bound book in the AstroShop. Most parents long to provide their children with the best they can offer on every level. But what is "the best"? The birth horoscope of a child is a map of patterns and potentials which exist in that child from the moment of birth. Encouragement of these potentials in childhood can help a child to develop greater confidence and hope for a future which is more authentically his or her own, so that greater happiness and fulfillment are possible later in life.
II. Your Child's Psychological Type
In this concise chapter Liz Greene describes the child's general temperament and his characteristic approach to life. The rich array of individual abilities and potentials portrayed in Roger James' birth horoscope is set against the background of an inherent temperament bias which may be partly hereditary but is also the reflection of a mysterious essence which belongs to him alone. This mysterious "something" is already at work within Roger James, helping him to develop his personality along the lines which are healthiest and most natural to him.
[..] Also, there are innate ideals in Roger James which are likely to become increasingly important as he learns to articulate them ideals such as fairness, truthfulness and kindness to others. This ethical core contributes to a decent, kind and highly attractive personality. But [...]

[..] Favouritism and emotional manipulation can be very distressing to him, for such tactics go against his deepest instincts of fair play despite the fact that these methods of interaction are utilised in most families. Roger James has an inherent inner ideal of relationship [...]
[..] Yet he dislikes any feeling of animosity or alienation from the group, and fears offending others by withdrawing. Roger James may need support in recognising the importance and value of his more introverted needs so that he can learn to know himself as well as enjoying [...]
IV. Emotional Needs and Patterns in Relationships
This chapter contains valuable information on the child's basic needs and the relationship with his parents. The complete horoscope covers this chapter on 5-6 pages.Every child has particular ways in which he or she experiences and seeks emotional contact with others, and this may not always accord with other, more dominant personality traits.
[..] But above all Roger James' idealistic and warm-hearted emotional nature requires a direct, open and enthusiastic response from others. He needs to feel special and it is others' recognition and interest which affirm his worth and build his confidence in himself. He will [...]
[..] If this parent is caught in domestic or work circumstances which make him feel emasculated and angry, it may not be easy for him to express his initiative and power of decision-making directly. Outbursts of anger or slow-boiling resentment could be the only outlets he has. But [...]
