This short extract gives you a taste of the personal "Child's Horoscope" by Liz Greene. The small samples taken from various chapters convey an impression of the complete horoscope (18-25 pages) which can be ordered as an E-Horoscope or a bound book in the AstroShop. Most parents long to provide their children with the best they can offer on every level. But what is "the best"? The birth horoscope of a child is a map of patterns and potentials which exist in that child from the moment of birth. Encouragement of these potentials in childhood can help a child to develop greater confidence and hope for a future which is more authentically his or her own, so that greater happiness and fulfillment are possible later in life.
II. Your Child's Psychological Type
In this concise chapter Liz Greene describes the child's general temperament and her characteristic approach to life. The rich array of individual abilities and potentials portrayed in Nina's birth horoscope is set against the background of an inherent temperament bias which may be partly hereditary but is also the reflection of a mysterious essence which belongs to her alone. This mysterious "something" is already at work within Nina, helping her to develop her personality along the lines which are healthiest and most natural to her.
[..] She possesses a rare charm and a natural ability to mediate and soothe the upsets of others. These are wonderful gifts which need to be respected without being taken for granted. Nina will find great joy and happiness in the experience of belonging to a larger human community [...]

[..] This is not because Nina does not care for others. On the contrary, special people mean an enormous amount to her and she is capable of great loyalty and long-lasting affection. But she is a very private person, and this will become more evident as she grows up. It is [...]
[..] This instinctive wisdom comes from deep within her, and parents may learn a great deal from her about what lies beneath the surface of life. Such awareness at a young age poses certain problems not least a sense of aloneness and separateness from other children. Because [...]
[..] Either way good experiences with others are likely to outnumber bad ones if only Nina will give people a chance. This does not mean that parents should force her into situations which frighten her. She is and will remain throughout her life a deep and private kind of person. But [...]
IV. Emotional Needs and Patterns in Relationships
This chapter contains valuable information on the child's basic needs and the relationship with her parents. The complete horoscope covers this chapter on 5-6 pages.Every child has particular ways in which he or she experiences and seeks emotional contact with others, and this may not always accord with other, more dominant personality traits.
[..] She may not make friends easily, for she needs time to discover whether the other child is really safe and reliable. Also, it is through experiencing difficulties in relationship separations, quarrels, disappointments and discovering that the love is still there that [...]
[..] But because Nina perceives her mother as a figure of great power, any form of emotional manipulation (such as brooding silences meant to punish the girl when she has done something wrong) can be unnecessarily threatening. Nina also perceives her mother as emotionally strong, [...]
