This short extract gives you a taste of the personal "Child's Horoscope" by Liz Greene. The small samples taken from various chapters convey an impression of the complete horoscope (18-25 pages) which can be ordered as an E-Horoscope or a bound book in the AstroShop. Most parents long to provide their children with the best they can offer on every level. But what is "the best"? The birth horoscope of a child is a map of patterns and potentials which exist in that child from the moment of birth. Encouragement of these potentials in childhood can help a child to develop greater confidence and hope for a future which is more authentically his or her own, so that greater happiness and fulfillment are possible later in life.
II. Your Child's Psychological Type
In this concise chapter Liz Greene describes the child's general temperament and his characteristic approach to life. The rich array of individual abilities and potentials portrayed in Tip's birth horoscope is set against the background of an inherent temperament bias which may be partly hereditary but is also the reflection of a mysterious essence which belongs to him alone. This mysterious "something" is already at work within Tip, helping him to develop his personality along the lines which are healthiest and most natural to him.
[..] Another extremely positive quality in his colourful and individualistic nature is his innate sense of honour, for this reflects his identification with the values of the fairy-tale world. Princes are noble and princesses gracious, and Tip will try to be both. This deep [...]
III. The Characters in the Story
This is one of the most comprehensive chapters of the "Child's Horoscope". This short version touches only on a few of the central characters in your child's personality. The complete report provides a detailed description on 7-9 pages. The tension between the main characters in Tip's inner story is the source of energy which provides the impetus for growth, movement and the formation of a healthy individuality.
[..] But Tip is rather special because the sense of exciting future possibilities and unexplored horizons will remain with him not only during childhood but throughout his adult life. This vision of something new just around the corner lies at the core of his personality, and [...]
Everything that Tip does is done in a big way. If he is upset, he doesn't just cry he explodes like a thunderstorm. If he is feeling affectionate, he doesn't just hug you he practically floods you with warmth, love and enthusiasm. His instinctive faith in life gives [...]
[..] His hidden anxieties will probably take the form of a particularly intense attachment to certain people, pets, loved objects or familiar rituals which provide a sense of stability, even while he is attempting at the same time to generate excitement through the restless pursuit [...]
IV. Emotional Needs and Patterns in Relationships
This chapter contains valuable information on the child's basic needs and the relationship with his parents. The complete horoscope covers this chapter on 5-6 pages.Every child has particular ways in which he or she experiences and seeks emotional contact with others, and this may not always accord with other, more dominant personality traits.
[..] His generosity, warmth and ability to amuse and inspire others will be readily expressed as long as he can find an emotional climate where his need for new stimuli and imaginative challenges can be met. Joy and laughter are vital to his emotional well-being. A claustrophobic [...]
[..] His father does not need to pretend to be someone he is not, but will help Tip much more if he can be honest about past failures as well as successes, and can share hopes, dreams and disappointments as his son gets older. This honesty of exchange is extremely important, [...]
