Introduction

In the short edition, only a few, but nevertheless important aspects of your natal chart are considered.

Taurus Rising

You are very calm and deliberate in your actions. You don't like to move too quickly or act hastily.

Sometimes you are quite stubborn, and the more that someone applies pressure, the more firmly you resist.

Outwardly, you appear quite calm and self-possessed. It is not that you suppress your feelings, but that your exterior does not reveal them very readily. At the same time, you show others an earthy kind of warmth and friendliness.

You enjoy comfort and the good things of life.

Sun in Aries

You are very energetic and spirited. You tend to be impatient if events don't move as quickly as you would like. This may cause you to become totally wrapped up in yourself, simply because you aren't relating to others enough. You have a mind of your own, and you do not care if anyone else agrees with you.

You like to be the first to do everything, and often you take risks that others consider unwise. Just be careful to avoid real trouble, and try to listen to what others have to say; in fact they may be trying to help you.

You are rather quick to anger, but you do not hold grudges. However, while you are angry you act rashly and may say things that you will regret later.

In talking with other people, you prefer to be simple and direct. Just be careful not to be so blunt that you hurt people's feelings.

Sun in the Twelfth House

A shy person, you prefer to stay in the background if possible; in fact, you like to hide.

You have more compassion for others than most young people do. You love mysteries and secrets, imagination and fantasy.

You may have had an extremely painful experience when you were very young. If so, you may think it was a punishment for something that you did, and you may be afraid that it will happen again. In fact, whatever happened was an accident for which nobody is to blame. You are not a bad person, and there is no reason why it should happen again.

When you grow up, you will probably have an unusual understanding of the supernatural.

Getting up in front of an audience will probably never be easy, although you can learn to do it if you really want to.

Moon in Cancer

Because Cancer is the sign most closely connected with the Moon, you can be very strong and secure emotionally.

Being close to your mother is especially important, and you need a lot of love and affection from her as well as from others in your family. When you're older, you'll be very good at giving the same kind of support to others and taking care of people in need.

Feelings are more important to you than logical thinking, which seems cold or boring.

You are easily hurt by criticism. It's not that you are weak or fragile, but that you are unusually sensitive to other people's feelings.

Moon in the Fourth House

To be at your best, you need to have a peaceful home life, for this means emotional security to you. When you feel strong and secure, you are very kind and sensitive to other people's feelings. But if you feel depressed or insecure, you tend to withdraw into your own private world.

Your mother is very important to you, and you need to be close to her.

You are interested in the past, and you may become an eager student of history, especially the history of your own family origins and background.

Moon Opposition Midheaven

You are strongly attached to your home and your childhood. You want to feel that you belong to a place and to someone, because belonging gives you a sense of security

If your life is confused and uncertain now, you will find it very difficult to overcome the effects of this problem when you are older. You would never feel 'good' enough, and your inner self would always be in an uproar, with your emotions working against you.

But if your home life is good and secure you will grow into a warm, loving and generous person. You wil be able to express your feelings more powerfully than most people can and you will have an inner security that can be shared by others wherever you go.

Venus in Gemini

You like to meet many people and have as many friends as possible, for you love variety. The more people you know, the less bored you are, so you act quite friendly and open.

You express yourself in a lively way, and others will probably enjoy your humor and interesting wit.

This position of Venus means that you will be interested in art and poetry when you are older.

Although you like to know a lot of different people, you are not interested in getting close to them or involved in their lives. It may be hard for you to form a deep attachment to someone.

Venus in the Second House

You like to own beautiful things and be surrounded by comfort and luxury. As a result, money runs through your fingers, because when you see something you want, you buy it.

On the positive side, if you learn to have good taste and good sense, you will buy only things that are worth the price.

Try not to give in to every desire and whim.

Mars in Gemini

Your energies get turned on very rapidly, and you work very quickly. You are inclined to start several projects at once and never finish any of them. If you cannot overcome this basic tendency to dabble shallowly in many activities, you will not master any skill very completely.

On the other hand, you do have a quick mind, which you enjoy using, especially to debate and argue with others in a spirit of friendly disagreement.

Try not to be so impulsive in the way you think. If you make decisions too rapidly, you will often be wrong.

Mars in the First House

You are very energetic and self-assertive, and you never retreat from a conflict. In fact, you may even look for a conflict where there is none. Be careful of this tendency, because people will probably dislike you for it.

If you are placed in a position of leadership, which will happen, you will lead very energetically.

You are quite impulsive and extremely restless. However, if you have to work very hard on something that requires a great deal of physical energy, you enjoy it.

Learn to take the time to understand other people's points of view. You tend to see only your own and to become angry when someone challenges your beliefs.
