The new PREMIUM Daily Horoscope
Do you know Robert Hand? If so, then you may also know that he is one of the world's best-known and most respected astrological authors, an honorary graduate of Brandeis University, former chairman of the National Council for Geocosmic Research, member of AFAN, ISAR, the Astrological Lodge, the Astrological Association of Great Britain, and patron of the Faculty of Astrological Studies.
But even if the name Robert Hand doesn't ring a bell, chances are you've read his writings: he is the author of the transit interpretations used in the Personal Daily Horoscope on this website. He wrote them when he was not yet 30 years old.
Today, Robert Hand is over 80 years old and one of the most respected astrologers on the planet. A few years ago, he contacted Astrodienst and offered to write the transit interpretations from scratch. We agreed, and he set to work. After some time, he sent us a comprehensive work on the interpretation of transits, which contains the experience and deep knowledge of an entire, long astrological life.
We also set to work and created a new daily horoscope, more extensive and comprehensive than the previous one. On August 11, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. CET, we released the new PREMIUM daily horoscope with the texts of this great astrologer. We are delighted!
We invested a lot of time and energy in programming and design. The texts were extensively edited (we would like to thank Catherine Emmenegger, Rahel Visconti, and Esther Waldron) and then prepared for use as an online horoscope.
For the first time, we used machine translation tools to translate the texts into other languages. It was an experiment with an uncertain outcome that caused us a lot of headaches, as the quality of the translations did not meet our expectations. However, with the help of our editors and a subsequent revision using Large Language Model (LLM), we succeeded in bringing the very extensive text into a form that meets our standards. The language and content are now of equally high quality, both in English and in the translations (the German translation has already been released, with other languages to follow).
The text of the new PREMIUM Daily Horoscope is divided into a general section and a section on opportunities and risks during this transit. It also contains the interpretations of all minor aspects such as semi-sextile, quincunx, sesquiquadrate, etc. In most cases, not only is the transit interpreted, but the house position of the birth chart is also taken into account.
The Astrodienst Team is pleased to offer you the new PREMIUM Daily Horoscope. You can find it in the Daily Horoscope in the new PREMIUM section. It is part of the subscription to the Extended Daily Horoscope, which allows you to read all the transits of the day and navigate back and forth on the timeline (this year, next year, and three years back).
During the introductory phase, a selected text for today is also freely accessible to non-subscribers.
