Sacred Alignment: Nodal Pathways to Wellness in 2025
Tiffany Harelik
As the lunar nodes shift into Pisces and Virgo in 2025, it is important to embrace mind-body-spirit wellness. Balancing the ethereal (Pisces) and the practical (Virgo) is key. Pisces, the mutable water sign, inspires release, surrender, and spiritual flow, while Virgo, the mutable earth sign, inspires routines, mindfulness, and care for the physical body. Together, they create a clear pathway to profound personal wellness and vitality showing us what to let go of, and what to embrace.
To leverage the energies of Pisces and Virgo, it is necessary to refine our wellness routines. Remember, the focus is on letting go of (South Node) analytical Virgo themes, and embracing (North Node) ethereal Pisces themes. That means this year we can embrace space for grace. It’s less about getting ‘it’ right, and more about being in flow and following our intuition.
Key dates
Three eclipses fall on the Virgo/Pisces pipeline this year. Considering that eclipse moments can be felt up to ninety days in advance, please use January and February to prepare for the March eclipses, and use August and October to prepare for the September eclipses. Additionally note when the nodes make hard aspects to natal planets. As the nodes square your natal Moon or Cancer positions, be aware of potential sensitivities, allergies or reactions.
Balancing Grounded-Virgo with Pisces’ Flow
Our wellness can be defined by the daily choices we make, the information we allow into our minds, the thoughts we allow ourselves to think, and the food we put into our bodies physically and spiritually. Consider your definition of wellness as you work with the nodes in 2025.
Virgo rules the nervous system and digestion. Incorporating mindfulness exercises, making small dietary adjustments, and exploring routine acupressure practices support nervous system health. Pisces governs the feet and the lymphatic system. Dreamwork, spiritual baths, and fluid movement (like dance or swimming) enhance spiritual flow. Consider how emotional release can improve physical vitality as you’re designing wellness routines this year.
Recipes and Nutrition
Virgo rules pickiness - can we experiment with being less picky? Pisces rules moods - can we experiment with awareness around emotional eating?
Mercury rules Virgo and therefore diets and recipes. Mercury also rules the cephalic phase of digestion, which relies on smell and touch—which are key elements that enhance the overall eating experience. Mercury foods and flavors include: Carrots, Celery, Oats, Parsley, Wheat, grains, cereals, Dill, Fennel, Caraway, Lavender, and Lemongrass. Virgo rules bees and beekeeping. Perhaps there will be a resurgence in beekeeping as a hobby to also support a failing food system, or a spiked interest in raw, natural honey.
Pisces is co-ruled by Neptune and Jupiter. Jupiter rules nourishing fats, the liver, and plump fruits. Jupiter foods and flavors include: Asparagus, Beets, Bell peppers, Berries, Chestnuts, Currants, Endive, Fats, Figs, Fruits in general, Honey, Lemons, Limes, Liver, Strawberries, Mint, Sage, and Nutmeg. Neptune foods and flavors include: Coffee and Seafood. Pisces also rules the oil-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, and F). Since Neptune rules spoiled/toxic, processed and contaminated food, with the South Node in Virgo—we need to be mindful of toxins in our food systems on land and in the sea. Neptune also rules drugs and alcohol. Perhaps new restrictions or limitations will be put in place around these things.
Below are some recipe ideas that pull inspiration from Virgo and Pisces.

Medical astrology tip
A general guideline in medical astrology is that the vitamins a person may have difficulty metabolizing—and therefore need more of in their diet—are associated with the planet governing the sign opposite their Sun sign. For example, a person who’s Sun is in Virgo will note that their diet may benefit from Pisces-ruled foods and supplements. Furthermore, the absorption of Pisces-ruled nutrition is optimized when eaten at the same time as Virgo-ruled foods and supplements. In other words, you easily digest foods and nutrition ruled by your Sun sign, and those foods also support the absorption of the nutrients you need most (which are those ruled by the sign opposite your Sun).
