Commonly known as Witkacy, he was a Polish writer, painter, philosopher, playwright, novelist, and photographer active in the interwar period.
He died 18 Sweptember 1939.
PTA quotes the birth certificate. Excerpt from the book entry metric, located in the archives of the Church of St. Alexander in Warsaw: "he brought to us the male baby born in his home residence twelve / twenty-fourth of March this year, at six o'clock in the evening."
