British comedy actor famous for her saucy roles in the "Carry On" films that first premiered in 1967. With her blond beehive hairdo she has made quite an impression on film audiences from the 1950s to the 1970s as a giggly dumb blonde.

She made her screen debut in 1955 as one of the girls in "The Belles of St. Trinian's."

Source Notes

Sy Scholfield quotes tabloid newspaper astrologer Justin Toper with a speculative ascendant degree based on his statement that: "she has Uranus, the planet of surprises, in Taurus opposite her rising sign of Scorpio. This means she tends to attract rather wayward, different men." (from article in the Mirror, June 22, 1998 by Helen Weathers, "Justin Toper's Celebrity Starfile" PT notes that the article gives her a Leo sun although at least one other sources gives her birth date as 9/6/1937, possibly a typo.
