Biography

French military officer in World War II, a sergeant, awarded the title of 'Compagnon de la Libération' (English: Companion of the Liberation).

During combat in August 1944 he was hit by a bullet in the chest and wounded again by shrapnel. Taken to a hospital at Le Mans, he died five days later, on 29 August 1944.
