Laurent Voulzy

French singer and composer, spent his childhood with his mother, dancer from Guadeloupe, in the suburb of Paris. Then he began his career as guitarist in 1969, and then as composer. His first international hit was "Rockcollection", inspired by the Beatles. Another one is called "Le Soleil donne": he sang it in french, english, spanish. Best known for his collaborative efforts with songwriter Alain Souchon, he interpreted also some duets with Kim Wilde, Andrea Corr, and Roger Daltrey. Particularly keen on medieval music. Now he lives in the South of England.
