Monica Vitti

Italian leading lady internationally in demand throughout the '60s and the '70s. She made her debut in 1955 and her films include "La Notte," 1960, "The Red Desert," 1964, "Girl With A Pistol," 1969 and "The Pacifist," 1971. Vitti received a diploma from the Art Academy and began her career as a stage actress. Presenting herself in over 25 movies, she has written, directed and co-produced some of her own productions and is the author of "Sette Sottane" released in 1993. The recipient of numerous awards, some of which include, Golden Globe as Best Actress in 1990 and Europa Best Actress award at the Barcelona Film Festival also in 1990.
