Spanish dancer, noted for his work with the Ballet of the 20th Century, 1965. Ullate was commissioned to form a new Spanish Nation Ballet Company in 1979.

In 1983, the Spanish government underwent major changes, and the national ballet company was dissolved. Ullate created a new company on 4/28/1988, one dedicated to training dancers. Teaching soon became his passion, and the school became a great success. In 1997, the company became known as the Community Ballet of Madrid. Ullate was honored for his outstanding abilities when he was awarded the National Prize for the Dance in 1989 and the Gold Medal for the Art Schools in 1996.
