Russell Thaw


German noted family, the son of Evelyn Nesbit and Harry K. Thaw.

His mom had married his dad at 19 and was a witness to the shooting by her husband of her former lover, Stanford White, on 26 June 1906. The crime resulted in a sensational murder trial.

His mom died in Santa Monica, Ca., on 17 January 1967.

He died in Santa Barbara, Ca. on 6 May 1984.
