Bernhard Russi (1972)


Swiss alpine skier, who specialized in Downhill. Russi won the gold medal at the 1972 Sapporo Olympics and a bronze at Innsbruck in 1976 (defeated by Franz Klammer). He won also two gold medals at the World championships. Then he became a designer of downhill olympic courses and a commentator for Swiss TV.
