American college and professional football player who became a college football coach. Foldberg played college football for Texas A&M University and the United States Military Academy, and thereafter, he played professionally for Brooklyn Dodgers and the Chicago Hornets of the All-America Football Conference (AAFC). He later served as the head football coach of Wichita State University and Texas A&M University.
Foldberg's son, Hank Foldberg, Jr., played tight end for the Florida Gators football team from 1971 to 1973.
Foldberg died at his home in Bella Vista, Arkansas on 7 March 2001, aged 77.
