Marius Daille (in 1900, Saint-Cyr, promotion Marchand)

French general in the second world war. He became a speaker and internationally recognized columnist with publications in English, also writing several books on military analysis and strategy. General Marius Daille was the nephew by marriage, and the heir to the French novelist and academician Paul Bourget (1852-1935). Daille died on January 6, 1978 in Hyères.
