Maltese-Australian barrister, solicitor, book writer, publisher (of The Maltese Observer), and editor (of Il-Maltija). He is the author of Liberals in Exile (1972-1975): The Politics of Frustration (1983), Roman Catholic Church Government Reform: Examination of Attempts Towards Decentralization of Government at the Second Vatican Council (1987), and Maltese Communities & Communal Identity: Fragmentation of an Ethnic Minority in Australia (1987). He was one of the "78ers" - the people who marched in the first Sydney Gay Mardi Gras in 1978.
