Gratien Candace (1929)


Guadeloupean politician who served in the French Chamber of Deputies from 1912 to 1942 and served as vice-president of the French Chamber of Deputies from 1938 to 1940.

Candace attended the First Pan-African Congress in Paris (19-22 February 1919).

He died on 11 April 1953 in Lormaye.
