Biography
British politician, an active Member of Parliament nicknamed "Red Ellen" for her beautiful flaming hair. She fearlessly slept in her flat on the ninth floor of her building during WW II, even in air raids.
Well-liked, she had the devotion of her employees.
Known for reading a book a day, she was an insomniac and an early riser. She also suffered from asthma for which she took medication.
On 2/06/1947, she died of an accidental drug overdose.
