Biography
Terrorist attack on London, a series of several bombs detonated during the morning commute in three underground train stations and on a bus. At least 52 people were killed and over 1,000 wounded.
Although initial reports are cited in the source notes, later reports by the BBC said that bombs on three tube (the underground) trains went off nearly simultaneously at about 8:50 AM.
Two weeks later, on July 21, another series of three bombs were detonated at about 1:00 PM, two on trains and one on a bus, but there were no fatalities or injuries as the bombs failed to explode fully.
