Biography

Canadian professional athlete, a hockey player and goalie. He began his pro career with the American Hockey League but transferred the following year to the Montreal Canadiens (1984-1995).

Following a dispute with coach Mario Tremblay, he was traded to the Colorado Avalanche with whom he played until 2003. He helped each team bring home two Stanley Cups for a total of four championships (1986, 1993, 1996, 2001).

He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame on November 13, 2006. He is currently the co-owner, general manager, and head coach of the Quebec Remparts of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
